District Wide Internet Technology Upgrades

Oakland Unified School District, Oakland, CA

Our team provided design management, construction management and contract management services for district wide technology infrastructure and network upgrades for all elementary schools, high schools, and middle schools. Working closely with the Director of Technology and her network team, we updated the technology infrastructure standards for a complete converged network between IT, telecom, and security systems. Our team created technical specifications for all security, technology infrastructure, and telecom systems as well as installation and testing procedures. The new protocols will be used on all future building projects throughout the school district to ensure and maintain consistency of construction and the installation of equipment.

Fremont Unified School District, Fremont, CA

Scope of services included design management, construction management and contract management services for district wide technology infrastructure and network upgrades for all elementary schools, high schools, and middle schools - 40 school campuses in total. Project budgets ranged from $500,000 to $2 million with an overall total cost of $22.5 million. Our team worked closely with the Chief Technology Officer and his network team as we created the design standards and technical specification as well as installation and testing procedures to be used on all future building projects throughout the school district to ensure and maintain consistency of construction and the installation of equipment.
